Arts
and culture
London is a
major cultural center rich in history, art and architecture with
possibly a few unique treasures which are tied closely to the history
of Singapore. One of the country's greatest exports is the English
language.
To explore areas of the city, take the two

History
and
heritage

In the 19th century, the British has the largest empire in the world in
history. The success in the trade and empire were mainly result of many
sea wars fought and won by Lord Horatio Nelson. At Trafalgar Square is
the
famous column built to commemorate the important
battle led by Lord Nelson believed to have saved
Britain from attack by Napoleon 's French navy which later
helped
Britain gain control of the seas.
Sir Stamford Raffles
The name Raffles has become synonymous with the Singapore’s
history and heritage. Although Singaporeans can see many places of
interest relating to the founder back home, it may still worth a visit
to his final resting place at St Mary’s Church in
Hendon,Northwest London.
